Last Sunday, we had the pleasure of collaborating in the Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship of the Balearic Islands, which took place at Trui Teatre in Palma de Mallorca. It was a spectacular event organized by FBFB Balear, Culturismo Balear, and the federation’s president, Raúl Cesar Gutierrez, among others. From Balear Online, we would like to congratulate all the winners and look forward to the next event.
An event full of surprises
The excitement was palpable from the very beginning. With over €3000 in prizes, the competitors gave their best, showcasing a high level of skill and dedication. But it wasn’t just the monetary prizes that sparked enthusiasm; this year’s winners were also awarded an exclusive tracksuit from the Balearic Team, a garment they will wear with pride as they represent our community at the Spanish Championship.
A celebration of local talent
The 2019 Balearic Championship was more than a competition; it was a celebration of the talent and dedication of our local athletes. Seeing so many participants strive and achieve their goals was truly inspiring for everyone present.
We deeply thank the organizers, sponsors, participants, and the incredible audience who filled Trui Teatre with their enthusiasm and support.
We look forward to the next Balearic Championship and hope to continue supporting events that promote the talent and passion of our community.
Bruno Sotos’ live concert
Another one of the great surprises at the Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship of the Balearic Islands was the concert by the renowned Bruno Sotos. Bruno, known for his appearance on the show “Got Talent,” where he became famous for moving Risto Mejide to tears with his song “Hoy Duele” (“Today Hurts”). Currently, his songs have millions of views, and the video of his performance on the show has been played more than 50 million times on various Facebook pages. Bruno performed several songs from his new album, in addition to giving a brief introduction to it. And, as expected, he sang his famous song, managing to move more than one person in the audience to tears.
Balear Online and Balearic bodybuilding
For a long time, even before the existence of the Balear Online brand, our manager collaborated in sports events. The federation’s president, Raúl César Gutierrez, and the current manager of Balear Online, Alex Tamkevicius, previously had a forum and a blog about bodybuilding in the Balearic Islands, as well as a sports supplementation e-shop. Although the blog was closed in 2013 and the store taken over by another company, Alex continued to collaborate in sports events and manage the Balearic Bodybuilding Federation’s website. Since founding the Balear Online project, he has continued to contribute to the sport he loves, and currently, Balear Online is one of the main sponsors of Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships in the Balearic Islands.
